JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position:              Financial Analyst

Division:              Established Pharmaceutical Division - Operation

Location:             Karachi -Landhi Plant

Job Summary:

The incumbent will be having various responsibilities related to cost management and analysis. This includes collaborating with stakeholders for cost optimization, conducting product inventory valuations, performing expense reviews and cost analyses, preparing reports for better control and decision-making, supporting planning updates, calculating manufacturing variances, supervising postings, auditing costing journal entries, managing batch costing, and reporting monthly departmental expenses and PPV (Purchase Price Variance) incurrence and amortization schedule. The aim is to ensure efficient cost and margin management within the organization.

Major Responsibilities:

                                                                                     

• Collaborate with Business & other Stakeholders for regular inputs, review, and data analysis in order to ensure Cost & Margin optimization
• Conduct valuation of product inventory on a monthly and annual basis in order to make the necessary provisions for accounting
• Prepare monthly expense review and Standard vs. Actual cost analysis (Volume, price, yield variance) to take corrective measures wherever required on Monthly Basis
• Prepare various reports for review and analysis to put better Controls in place and help the
• business take necessary decisions based on the same Support in Plan/LBEs Update 
• Ensuring monthly/quarterly Manufacturing variances calculation and Reporting Supervising issues and CJE postings
• Auditing of Costing Journal Entries ,Batch costing 
•  Monthly departmental expense reporting and PPV incurrence & amortization schedule

                             

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

• MBA - Finance / ACMA Finalist / ACCA
• 3-5 years of experience 
• Strong communication skills 
• Decision making ability
• Good team player
