Job Description:
The Procurement leadership in Heart recovery business unit of Johnson & Johnson MedTech is currently recruiting Director of category management and Procurement Excellence. The position will be based in Aachen, Germany
Johnson & Johnson MedTech is a world leader in heart recovery that provides circulatory support and oxygenation. Our products are designed to enable the heart to rest and recover by improving blood flow and/or providing sufficient oxygenation to those in respiratory failure.
The position of Director, Category Management and Procurement Excellence reports to Sn Director of Global Procurement. This new position will be accountable to oversee external spending of all direct materials including precision materials, external manufacturing, and electronics categories used in Abiomed products. Direct materials play important role in Abiomed success and hence stronger category management in this spending will drive amplified business impact. The incumbent in position will be responsible for driving end-to-end spend performance including supply security, risk management, sourcing strategies and Innovation. This position is also responsible for driving procurement excellence across procurement, setting the role as very strategic and important in global procurement team.
The leader in this role will have responsibilities of overall team size is 15+ team members which includes direct reporting of 3 leads of category management and a lead of Data Analytics and governance. Leader in this role is expected to deepen category management capabilities capable, and build capable, and high performing team. This role offers future growth opportunities and hence demands candidate with proven strong performance, and balanced depth on operational and strategic procurement and supply chain topics, as well as strong people management skills.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€106.100,00 - €182.390,00
