The Opportunity:


CACI is looking to hire a Senior Analyst/Accountant with VA loan and federal financial expertise to join our growing VA FMBT Team. We are looking for an accountant who has 8-10 years of experience with VA direct portfolio and guaranteed loan expertise and federal financial expertise. The individual should also have Momentum COTS (iFAMS) and FMS system experience. Must be able to work at our Austin, TX location on a part-time basis. Due to contract requirements, US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities:


- Be a subject matter expert on VA loans and provide guidance to leadership, team members, demonstrate expertise VA loans, federal financial management business processes, and ERP implementation best practices.
- Assist with implementing the Momentum COTS financial system and provide VA loan and federal financial expertise relative to the organization’s requirement.
- Assist with resolving VA loan issues in iFAMS production and BI reports.
- Engage with client product owners to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and recommend technical solutions.
- Assist in leading a team of professionals towards achieving client and company goals.
- Apply SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) Certification knowledge towards the team, ensuring effective communication and coordination for PI Planning.
- Individual must be able to work independently solving issues related to system or business processes.
- Lead a team, coach, and review work from team members.
- Requires ability to communicate with leadership regarding matters of significant importance (status, risks, etc.) to the organization.
- Collaborate with other analysts and client to understand the organization’s business processes.
- Understand VA loan data from multiple viewpoints, from an enterprise perspective to a client perspective, and managing it in a way that can be understood and leveraged across the project.
- Clearly and professionally communicate with client and management in gathering requirements and identifying impediments/blockers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants.

Qualifications:

Required: 

- Excellent analytical skills. 
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems.
- Self-starter. Quick to learn and put new skills to use.
- Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines. 
- Flexibility to put in hours needed to meet tight deadlines.


- At least 8 Years experience with:

  • VA direct portfolio and guaranteed loans.

  • Federal financial management and systems.

  • Federal accounting principles.


- 4 Years Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years relevant work experience.
- US citizenship is required.


Desired:


- 4 Years experience with Momentum Financials.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$105,100 - 231,100 USD
