Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Senior Automation Engineer (Multiple openings) in Hopkins, MN.
The Senior Automation Engineer is responsible for testing, creating, implementing, and supporting robotics process and desktop automations. This role performs design, scripting, testing, implementing, maintaining and modifying automations of moderate complexity, significance, and risk. In addition, this position creates comprehensive test plans and test cases. Specific duties include: (1) architect and design test automation framework for Digital Platforms; (2) develop and execute automation script for Web Applications and Mobile Applications using Selenium webdriver, Java, Appium, Maven, Seetest and TestNG; (3) perform Web accessibility testing of Online Banking Application using JAWS, NVDA and Mobile App using Talkback/Voiceover tool as well as performing test execution of Web Application, Mobile App and API Services; (4) participate in requirement analysis meetings and analyzing user requirements/stories to automate existing systems & review test deliverables including automation test script creation, execution and defects; (5) develop automation scripts for SOAP/REST API and Spring boot Micro Services using Karate framework and Junit, and performing Web Services API Testing using Postman and SOAP UI; (6) perform and lead clients and technical staff to investigate, analyze, and resolve technical problems; (7) build Dev-ops pipeline for continuous integration using Jenkins and integrate automation scripts; (8) estimate and define time tables and project tasks as well as analyzing and estimating cost and time; conduct analysis of organizational needs for the creation and implementation of automation solutions; (9) conduct analysis of organizational needs for the creation and implementation of automation solutions; (10) participate in Agile ceremonies; (11) implement programming concepts, development logic or automating highly complex processes; utilize knowledge of data and process modeling, system and application testing, software development life cycle, application design and architecture, programming, implementation, change controls, and robotics suites; (12) utilize knowledge of data and process modeling, system and application testing, software development life cycle, application design and architecture, programming, implementation, change controls, and robotics suites; and (13) work with the following tools and technologies: Java, Selenium Web Driver, BDD Cucumber, Seetest, SOAP, Postman, Rest Assured (API Testing), MS OFFICE, Perl, Unix, QC, JIRA (For tracking stories, test and defects), JAWS/NVDA (For Web Accessibility), and DB2.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, or Computer Science and 5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience participating in Agile ceremonies.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) developing and executing automation script for Web Applications and Mobile Applications using Selenium webdriver, Java, Appium, Maven, Seetest and TestNG; (2) performing Web accessibility testing of Online Banking Application using JAWS, NVDA and Mobile App using Talkback/Voiceover tool as well as performing test execution of Web Application, Mobile App and API Services; (3) participating in requirement analysis meetings and analyzing user requirements/stories to automate existing systems & review test deliverables including automation test script creation, execution and defects; (4) develop and execute automation scripts for REST/SOAP based API services using Rest Assured, Java, BDD Cucumber and TestNG; and (5) working with the following tools and technologies: Java, Selenium Web Driver, BDD Cucumber, Seetest, SOAP, Postman, Rest Assured (API Testing), MS OFFICE, Perl, Unix, QC, JIRA (For tracking stories, test and defects), JAWS/NVDA (For Web Accessibility), and DB2. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.
Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $141,898 - $171,000. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
