Summary: The role of Staff Accountant I involves managing intricate accounting tasks with a strong emphasis on accuracy within the dynamic payments sector. This opportunity is well-suited for individuals seeking to transition their accounting expertise into the rapidly evolving FinTech industry.

This role is a hybrid role that will work onsite 1-2 days per week at our Conshohocken, PA location. Occasional travel may be required as part of this position. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares daily, weekly and monthly journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation (in accordance with GAAP).
  • Conduct ongoing reconciliations, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
  • Follow and maintain processes and procedures to increase efficiency.
  • Completes accounting transactions with a clear understanding of process flow and significant attention to detail.
  • Support senior team members with external audits.
  • Capable of taking on ad hoc reporting tasks and supporting senior accountants.
  • Assist in financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide insights on financial performance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Proficient level in Excel
  • ERP Software experience, Dynamics GP experience is a plus
  • Experience preparing complex reconciliations is a plus

The base salary range for this position is between $51,660.00 to $63,000.00, with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
