£50,000 - £60,000 per annum dependant on experience.
As an Executive Assistant, you will provide proactive administrative, logistical, and representative support to the CEO, enabling him to dedicate the majority of his time to strategic priorities and long-term business development. You will ensure the timely completion of all board papers and associated actions, while effectively managing key stakeholders across the organisation to uphold high standards of delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Develop key communications, including formal and informal written documents and internal and external presentation slide decks, to final draft stage for CEO approval prior to publication.
Optimise diary management to minimise unnecessary CEO meeting attendance, maximising time for strategic priorities, external visibility, relationship building, and future planning.
Deputise on behalf of the CEO when necessary and appropriate, for data gathering, project implementation, and capturing points requiring escalation for decision-making.
Conduct marketplace and industry research projects to inform business planning activities and future strategic development, presenting findings to the CEO and Board Members for consideration.
Perform competitor watch research through desk-based activities and personal industry involvement alongside the CEO.
Ensure the effective implementation of actions assigned to the CEO, from initiation to approval.
Manage projects overseen by the CEO, ensuring all stakeholders deliver according to project plan requirements and taking corrective actions to realise project benefits.
Ensure all statutory, management, and board correspondence is accurate and managed in a timely manner.
Maximise opportunities to promote the CEO's personal profile within the organisation and the external industry and marketplace. Develop relationships with key external contacts to support the promotion of the CEO's opinions, ensuring appropriate visibility and profile for both the CEO and DM.
Qualifications, Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:
Proven experience in an Executive Assistant role directly supporting at CEO level
Exceptional organisational and diary management skills
High levels of flexibility and adaptability
Flawless communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Excellent telephone manner
Ability to multitask and prioritise an ever-changing workload
Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work autonomously
Skill in determining which emails, reports, and telephone calls need to reach the CEO and which do not
Strong business and commercial acumen
Proficiency in communicating with and presenting to senior management and executives
Ability to build relationships at all levels across the business and with external contacts
Experience using the full Microsoft Office suite
Proficient drafting, writing, and research skills
