Full Time, 32 Hours Per Week, AM Shift

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

• Master’s degree in a social science field required, plus two (2) years of experience working in a behavioral health field.
• Rehabilitation Therapist II: BBS registration as an AMFT, ASW, or APCC, or Psychology Assistant; or licensed as an Occupational Therapist, Music Therapist, Dance Therapist, or Recreation Therapist
• Rehabilitation Therapist III: BBS licensed as LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist;
• Valid California Driver's License

How you will make a difference (job overview):

The Rehabilitation Therapist is responsible for providing direct and indirect rehabilitation services to participants. These services are provided through individualized and/or group activities for participants. The Rehabilitation Therapist may also provide work direction to Rehabilitation Aides.

Division/Program Overview:

• MHRC is a 16 bed, inpatient program that provides intensive support and rehabilitative services.
• The individuals served are 18-64 years old with mental health struggles that have necessitated placement in a state hospital or other intensive behavioral health facility.
• Comprehensive behavioral health and psychiatric services are provided by a multidisciplinary team.
• The team supports individuals in developing the skills to become self- sufficient and increase levels of independence and functioning
