The Program Coordinator provide administrative and secretarial support based on applicable policies, rules and procedures.
The Program Coordinator will support to 2-3 divisions within the Department of Neurology, including clinical, administrative, fiscal, research, and academic duties. Under the direction of the Division Supervisor and/or Neurology Leadership, responsibilities include but are not limited to :
• Oversight and management of administrative calendars for division faculty and APPs
o Scheduling, attending, and taking minutes for meetings
o Submitting faculty and APP leave requests
• Collating and processing reimbursements (eg travel, recruitment)
• Drafting faculty recruitment itineraries, and hosting on-site and virtual recruitment visits
• Submitting requests to revise leadership-approved Neurology clinical schedules
• Purchasing Division office supplies
• Department and Division project assistance
This position requires a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy as the initial administrative contact for the divisions, as well as flexibility to pivot due to a high paced work environment with competing priorities. Initiative, accountability, collaboration, and dependability are essential to the success of this position.

Experience REQUIRED:
Minimum of four (4) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting
Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications and e-mail/calendaring
Experience PREFERRED:
Five (5) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting
Previous experience in an academic health care setting
Education/training REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Education/training PREFERRED:
Associate Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field from an accredited program
Independent action(s) required:
Project management and communication with a variety of individuals/entities and decision making.
