We are seeking an experienced and motivated finance analyst to oversee the financial management of our Inventory/Costing.
In the position, you will be responsible for managing inventory/costing items as well as the daily operations of the organization to help us maximize our results.

The Analyst role is an integral member of the Finance team, leading the end-to-end processes by collaborating with cross-site teams and stakeholders, working closely with the Logistics, Operations, Accounting and Procurement teams to ensure that our financial processes are accurate and reported correctly to all stakeholders.

What will YOU do?

  • Manage end-to-end inventory financial processes.
  • Prepare monthly inventory analysis and reporting packages including robust and complex analysis and KPI to drive superior performance
  • Prepare detailed and meaningful Inventory account reconciliations and journal entries with the proper documentation support.
  • Undertake analysis on inventory levels, aging, and obsolescence and apply financial methods to prepare recommendations for policy/process improvements related to inventory tracking and accuracy
  • Calculate Obsolescence & Excess of inventory reserves as well review Net Realizable Value (NRV) results and identify Q-end accruals.
  • Maintain, analyze, and update bill of materials for Work in Process (WIP) and Finished Goods.
  • Cost roll-up process - Periodic update of material standard costs and ongoing analysis of BOM structure.
  • Support the creation and updates to inventory costing.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory transfers/movements, and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Corporate Policies
  • Collaborates with the Operational departments to support overall department goals and objectives
  • Support Accounting Manager & Finance team with special projects and workflow process improvements.
  • Support accounting close review process and external audit through analysis of financial results as compared to prior periods and expectations.
  • Ability to autonomously resolve inventory accounting issues and communicate results with management.
  • Lead automation and transformation efforts of inventory accounting processes.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the Finance team or internal stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • BA in Economics or Business Management, CPA, MA/MBA an advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Hi-Tech/Global company
  • Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, SAP (BPC)
  • Good understanding of business processes and reporting needs in a global Finance organization
  • Analytical mind with exceptional attention to detail
  • Possess a positive, service-oriented attitude with excellent follow through on issues
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
