Job Description

At present, the market demand of ultra-high-speed Laser Chip is remarkably increasing from viewpoint of dramatical deployment to not only Mega Data Center but rapid growth for AI/ML application.

To address the dramatically increasing in global demand, Lumentum is operating Fab under 7x24 operation to produce state-of-the-art chip production.

This applicant should have a high-level role and responsibility on the Back-End (BE) Tool Maintenance Team (TMT) as a Manager Job level for leading huge volume BE Chip Mass Production like over 20-50millionn pcs level per quarter.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Fab operation for huge volume Laser Chip Mass Production under 24 x 7 Fab operation.
  • Chip production line daily management and execution by a TMT Manager job level.
  • High knowledge and sufficient experience in terms of BE Tool management and technology for Chip fabrication, Chip testing, and Chip Visual inspection tools.
  • To be familiar with Preventative Maintenance (PM) planning and execution.
  • Deployment and utilize effective KPI metrics to improve Tool utilization and efficiency.
  • Fluent Japanese speaker for leading and managing of Fab and business level English speaking skill for high-level presentations.

Expected Background:

  • Bachelors and 5+ years of work experience, Masters and 2+ years of work experience.
  • Above high school graduate and equivalent appropriate experience in TM field.

Expected Skill:

  • Highly recommend if applicant have experience in a manager class or TM Engineer class in the Semiconductor Fab and/or Chip production process development for semiconductor optical devices.
