Security Solution Implementation:
Design, deploy, and configure security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), antivirus software, and encryption tools.
Collaborate with IT and network teams to integrate security solutions seamlessly into existing infrastructure.
Risk Assessment:
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
Analyze security risks associated with new projects, systems, or processes.
Incident Management:
Respond to security incidents promptly and effectively.
Investigate security breaches, incidents, and anomalies.
Develop incident response plans and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and organizational policies.
Stay informed about changes in regulations and adjust security practices accordingly.
Collaboration:
Work closely with IT, development, and operations teams to understand security requirements.
Collaborate with business units to identify security needs and develop effective strategies.
Training and Support:
Provide security awareness training to employees.
Offer guidance on security best practices and policies.
Support end-users in resolving security-related issues.
Qualification:
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable.
Familiarity with secure coding practices and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
