Job Summary: We are looking for a Backup Engineer to join our team and manage our backup infrastructure using Rubrik solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backup technologies and proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining backup systems. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain backup solutions using Rubrik. • Develop backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection and availability. • Perform regular backups, restores, and disaster recovery tests. • Monitor backup jobs and troubleshoot any issues that arise. • Optimize backup infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate backup solutions with existing systems and applications. • Document backup policies, procedures, and configurations. • Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff on backup technologies. • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in backup and recovery. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • Proven experience as a Backup Engineer, with expertise in Commvault, Veeam, and/or Rubrik. • Strong knowledge of backup and recovery concepts, methodologies, and best practices. • Experience with storage systems, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms. • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
