Summary:
We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP Application Development Developer with expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native applications and extensions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on the Clean Core Approach, ensuring minimal modifications to the SAP core system while leveraging extensibility frameworks and side-by-side development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Business Application Studio.
Build scalable and secure applications using SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, and the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
Adhere to the Clean Core Approach by avoiding direct modifications to the SAP core system.
Develop side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP to enhance SAP S/4HANA functionality.
Utilize in-app extensibility tools and frameworks to meet business requirements without compromising system integrity.
Integrate SAP BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP solutions using OData services, APIs, and SAP Integration Suite.
Develop and expose OData services for seamless data exchange and process integration.
Create custom workflows, business logic, and applications using RAP (Restful Application Programming Model) while maintaining a clean core.
Implement reusable components and microservices to support business processes.
Optimize application performance and ensure compliance with SAP security standards.
Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using SAP Identity Authentication Service.
Work closely with business analysts, architects, and other developers to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP features, tools, and best practices.
Explore innovative solutions to enhance system performance and user experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Business Application Studio.
Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, and SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
Experience with OData services, APIs, and RAP (Restful Application Programming Model).
Deep understanding of the Clean Core Approach and its principles.
Experience in side-by-side extensibility and in-app extensibility frameworks.
Ability to design and implement solutions that minimize core modifications.

Nice to Have:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Node.js, or Python.
Experience with ABAP for RAP-based development.
Knowledge of integration patterns and tools for connecting SAP and non-SAP systems.
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA architecture and extensibility options.

Ability to work in an agile development environment.


Education and Certifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
SAP certifications in BTP, Build Work Zone, SAP ABAP Cloud
