Your Impact and Contribution

As an Advanced Analytics Manager, you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape how data-driven risk management evolves at scale. Operating within a strategic control assurance and risk automation programme, you will work end-to-end across the intelligence lifecycle including data discovery, pre-analysis, development, testing and quality control, translating complex requirements into robust, well-governed analytical solutions. Your impact will be measurable in analytics that assess control effectiveness, identify risk exceptions, and improve risk outcomes across the Group.

Working within an agile, squad-based delivery model, you will collaborate across multiple domains as a trusted advisor, delivering solutions that have tangible, enterprise-wide impact. You'll be expected to challenge existing control logic and influence better ways of working, partnering closely with stakeholders to manage priorities, shape requirements, and deliver outcomes in line with programme timelines.

Your Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced analytics professionals who brings a unique combination of technical depth, risk mindset and stakeholder maturity. We're particularly interested in candidate with:

• Deep SQL and data analytics capability, with the competence to work hands-on across large, complex enterprise datasets
• Experience working in enterprise data environments (e.g. data warehouses), with the ability to navigate and connect data across multiple sources
• A strong data discovery and problem-solving mindset, confident working with incomplete or imperfect data and forming a clear analytical approach
• Exposure to data ingestion or processing tools (e.g. Alteryx, XCOM or similar), or the ability to work across different data pipelines
• A strong risk and control mindset with experience in risk management, control assurance, remediation or regulatory environments
• The ability to translate data into meaningful business and risk insights, clearly articulating assumptions, risks and recommendations
• Proven experience partnering with and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including the confidence to challenge constructively and shape better outcomes
• A high level of independence and ownership, with minimal reliance on structured training or oversight
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing deliverables
• A balanced profile, combining strong analytical capability with sound judgement and commercial awareness
• Confidence operating in a team where open discussion, challenge and diverse perspectives are valued
