Job Description Summary:

The Psychiatric Safety Officer is responsible for protecting patients, visitors, and employees by engaging with patients and promoting a safe and therapeutic environment while working in collaboration with clinical teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or GED (Required)
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Associate degree in a related field is preferred
  • Two years of prior experience within a behavioral health facility, corrections facility, healthcare facility or other related experience.
