Capital Chevrolet Buick GMC is seeking a dynamic Junior Service Advisor to be the welcoming face of our service team. In this key role, you'll have the chance to engage with both new and returning clients, bridging the gap between our skilled technicians and valued customers. You'll work hand-in-hand with our team to diagnose and communicate vehicle issues, offering transparent solutions that meet customer needs. Job Responsibilities:

  • Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers

  • Greet customers in a friendly manner

  • Use a consultative selling process to assist customers in planning for ongoing required maintenance of their vehicle

  • Produce repair orders for customers, including cost and time estimates, with full transparency

  • Communicate frequently with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work

  • Follow up with customers on the status of their vehicle, based on how the customer wants to be informed

  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction

  • Process payments for work completed

  • Process purchase of parts requests, reconciliation of repair orders, and parts invoices

  • Process repair orders and extended warranty payments

  • Maintain records of daily transaction documentation

  • Assist in scheduling courtesy transportation

  • Coordinate and schedule service appointments with customers

  • Assist the sales team by providing timely information and support for service-related inquiries

  • Communicate and collaborate with technicians to ensure smooth workflow

  • Other duties assigned by your manager

Requirements:

  • Maintain an energetic, professional, and positive personality throughout the workday

  • Effective communication skills

  • Desire to provide a high level of customer service

  • Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record

  • Ability to set and achieve targeted goals

  • Prior sales experience preferred but not required
