The Opportunity:
This role offers the chance to contribute to the development and management of competitive, customer-focused, and compliant retail life insurance products. You’ll play a key part in supporting the AIA Product Plan and Risk framework by analysing market trends, researching competitor offerings, and preparing business cases and product reports.
Responsible for assisting in the delivery of a portfolio of sustainable, competitive, customer oriented, compliant and profitable individual retail life insurance products.
To do this successfully you will:
- Answer enquiries from across the business that ensure that accurate information is shared in a timely manner to support a greater understanding of the product.
- Take a leadership role in some product development and remediation opportunities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of competitor offers and identify areas of difference (positive and negative) when compared to what AIA offer.
- Conduct research to support by the team.
- Create Newsletters on common enquiry topics to educate internal stakeholders
- Complaints analysis
- Conduct Product Health Checks
- Assist with projects, for example, updating forms or collateral or completing UAT
- Work closely with Distribution, Marketing, Risk & Compliance, Legal, Operations, Underwriting, Claims, PMO, Actuarial and IT in the performance of all the above tasks.
Successful applications will have:
- An understanding of the key drivers of the life, disability and trauma markets in Australia
- Strong time management skills with an ability to manage personal workloads while meeting demanding deadlines
- Strong knowledge of AIA Priority Protection product and knowledge of systems.
- Passion for finding creative solutions, both in terms of products and processes
- Ability to participate in a dynamic team environment.
- Takes pride in the quality of work completed with an eye for detail
