Job Summary
 

The Staff Accountant, AR is degreed with a solid work ethic and excellent judgment. They should be highly organized and detail-oriented, with outstanding analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that they are able to work effectively with minimal oversight, while also functioning well in a team environment. This position reports to the AR Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing detailed customer invoices, obtaining internal approvals, and submitting final invoices to the customers  

• Assisting with the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of AR and revenue journal entries

• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for AR and deferred revenue accounts

• Coordinating and communicating with customers, internal departments, and Account Managers

• Posting and applying payments received to customer accounts 

• Assisting with one-time reconciliations and projects on an ad-hoc basis

• Assisting with external audits by providing necessary support and documentation

• Protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential

• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field

• Relevant Accounts Receivable experience

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities 

• Attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• NetSuite experience is a plus 

• Proficiency in MS Office, including intermediate to expert Excel skills

The base pay range for this position is $25.76 to $29.62 per hour. Pay range may vary depending on work location, applicable knowledge, skills, and experience. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off and 401K.
