The Executive Director – Office of Physician and APP Recruitment and Alignment reports to the VP, PSA, and directs all aspects of physician and advanced practice recruitment. Additionally, this leader is responsible for integration and provider practice acquisition for the enterprise, including strategic partnerships and planning.  

   

This is the ideal position for an individual who is looking to be an influential leader and impact the future of healthcare, directing operations to attract, engage with and welcome new caregivers to one of the world’s top-ranked healthcare organizations. 

  

A caregiver in this role works Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. -- 5 p.m. 

  

A caregiver who excels in this role, will: 

  • Partner with strategy on strategic plans and forecasting for market share growth and retention in alignment with leadership and enterprise goals. Track industry, market, policy and technology trends to prioritize growth initiatives, conduct thorough analysis and research to understand the global landscape. 

  • Lead provider practice acquisitions, ensuring due diligence, timely implementation and compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. 

  • Lead provider recruitment, recruitment strategies, provider contracting and standardization of recruitment, affiliation and integration processes. 

  • Keep up to date with latest technological developments and trends for sourcing and recruiting candidates. 

  • Partner with Law Department and Staff Compensation in developing provider contracts and compensation models for acquired practice providers. 

  • Direct financial planning, including the development of budgets to meet business development targets and key metrics associated with enterprise goals. 

  • Create relationships, fostering alliances in potential markets and across the enterprise to ensure buy in from stakeholders. 

  • Lead a high-functioning recruitment, acquisition and integration team, driving results on a global scale. 

  

Minimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare or a related field 

  • 10 years of experience in a matrixed healthcare environment, preferably in a large medical practice or hospital setting, including a minimum of seven years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate to a large, diverse audience 

  • Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems in a matrixed environment 

  • Agility, influence, emotional intelligence and the ability to drive results 

  

Preferred qualifications for the ideal caregiver include: 

  • Master’s degree 

  • Ability to effectively analyze and interpret large amounts of data, making appropriate recommendations 

  • Demonstrates and models inspirational, inclusive and truly human leadership behaviors

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and exchange accurate information.
  • Ability to travel throughout the health system both domestically and internationally.
