Senior Accountant (6 month project)

The role in a nutshell:

This is a 6-month project and a key position within the organization, responsible for producing the overheads analysis and balance reconciliation of the main trading entities. You will be a technically strong accountant who can work effectively within a team to deliver timely and accurate accounts.

How you will make a difference:

• Own the overheads and balance sheet reconciliations process.
• Help drive best practice across the whole accounting function, working with the Controller to implement and drive controls and process improvements.
• Produce detailed spend analysis to provide Insightful information to leaders within the business.
• Compile payroll reconciliations on a monthly basis ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Work with the Purchase ledger team to ensure data is correct at source.
• Reconcile the balance sheet to agreed deadlines and provide analysis on movements and trends.
• Act as a mentor leader and coach to the rest of the team
• Working with the controller to produce a monthly Balance sheet pack for the Chief Accounting Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
• Enhance existing month end reporting process and implement improvement where possible.
