Calcasieu Bridge Partners is a consortium of developers charged with designing, construction, operating and maintaining the i10 bridge over the Calcasieu River. The lead members of the public-private partnership agreement include Plenary, ACCIONA and Sacyr.

The Project Coordinator will be a key member of the project team responsible for the successful delivery of the I-10 Bridge project over the Calcasieu River in Lake Charles, Louisiana. This role requires a dynamic professional with experience in Document Control, Submittals, and administrative support to ensure the project's compliance, efficiency, and organization. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the SPV Leadership Team of the joint venture overseeing this complex public-private partnership (PPP) infrastructure project. This position will be based on-site at the Lake Charles office.

Job Description

Contract Management:

  • Review and ensure timely compliance with all contract Submittals and Reports.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all contract documents, amendments, and correspondences.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of reports on contract status, performance metrics, and issues.

Project Document Control:

  • Ability to maintain a Document Control System (DCS) to store and record all correspondence, design inputs, drawings, progress reports, technical reports, and specifications, Submittals, etc.
  • Monitor incoming Document Control mail box for action items
  • Code all outgoing correspondence through the DCS.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide daily office management and minor IT support to the SPV Leadership Team
  • Develop and update project documents and reports
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items.
  • Manage both incoming and outgoing project documentation utilizing the Project Document Control System
  • Ensure all documentation is organized, accessible, and up-to-date.
  • Create Logs for tracking RFI’s and Review Comments on Submittals
  • Manage the Developer’s Administrative Offices

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project coordination and administrative support within the construction or infrastructure industry.
  • Knowledge of DBFOM and PPP project delivery methods a plus.
  • Strong understanding of project management and contract administration practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency working with workflows in a Document Control Software
  • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure construction projects.
