Summary:
At the ASPCA Animal Hospital (AAH), we’re on a mission to save lives and ease suffering. We provide critical care to victims of cruelty and neglect, working hand-in-hand with both internal partners—our ASPCA Adoption Center, Kitten Nursery, and Community Advocate Team—and external partners like the NYPD and other NYC organizations. We also extend our compassionate expertise by providing subsidized care exclusively for animals whose owners are experiencing financial challenges and could not otherwise afford medical care for their pet.
Our Licensed Veterinary Technicians are the heart of AAH—dedicated, level-headed professionals with a passion for animal welfare and the skills to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. They collaborate seamlessly with our veterinary medical team to deliver top-tier, practical care, ensuring every patient—whether an outpatient or in-hospital—receives efficient, skilled, and compassionate treatment. Additionally, our LVTs provide vital support for the Animal Recovery Center (ARC) when needed.
At AAH, we believe in reducing fear, anxiety, stress, and pain for every animal we treat. Our team members don’t just provide exceptional medical care; they champion Fear Free values, ensuring that every interaction—with clients, the public, colleagues, and, most importantly, our patients—is rooted in compassion, respect, and a commitment to animal well-being.
Join us in making a difference—one animal at a time!
