The Accenture Cyber Fusion Center in Prague is a unique multidisciplinary team of cybersecurity professionals passionate about protecting organizations against advanced cyber threats. As part of Accenture Security, we support clients globally to prepare for, detect, and respond to cyber attacks in an increasingly complex and fast‑changing threat landscape. We are looking for SOC Director to join our international team as one of the senior leaders at our custom- built location.

Cyber Fusion Centers bring together defensive and offensive security capabilities, including Security Operations Center (SOC), Threat Hunting, Incident Response, Application Security, Privileged Access Management, and Security Assessments, enabling an intelligence‑driven, integrated approach to Cyber Defense.

Our SOC team provides 24x7 alert monitoring and analysis to detect suspicious activity in our clients’ environments allowing promptly response and remediation of security incidents.

Role Summary

As an SOC Director, you will take a senior leadership role, providing strategic, operational and people leadership within the Cyber Fusion Center.

You will be accountable for service excellence, modernization and growth, driving the evolution toward AI-enabled, automated, and intelligence-led security operations, with Microsoft Security platforms as a key foundation.

You will act as a trusted client and internal executive advisor, including executive / board-level engagement.

What you will do

• Define and execute the SOC vision, strategy and multi-year roadmap within the Cyber Fusion Center

• Manage service performance and financials

• Assume multi-clients accountability and executive escalation ownership for major incidents, service risks, and client concerns

• Implement operating model governance (SLAs, KPIs, quality), aligned with Accenture’s global standards

• Contribute to go‑to‑market initiatives, client proposals, and thought leadership in SOC and cyber defense; contribute to Accenture Cyber Defense strategy

• Drive SOC convergence across SIEM, XDR, automation, and AI-driven operations, with a strong Microsoft Security focus

• Collaborate closely with Threat Hunting, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response and broader CFC leadership

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting SOC strategy, transformation and operating-model decisions

• Talent pipeline & succession; lead, mentor, and develop SOC leadership and senior experts

Qualification Requirements

• 15+ years of professional experience with minimum 10 years in SOC or Cyber Defense leadership roles

• Proven experience leading large‑scale, multi‑client SOC or MDR services

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies within a broader, technology-agnostic, SOC landscape

• Clear vision of automation, AI and augmentation of security operations

• Experience in global professional services or consulting environments

• Executive engagement and transformation leadership

• Proven people leadership experience

• Fluent English

Nice to have

• Experience operating and scaling global SOC/MDR services

• Exposure to regulated industries and complex client environments

• Hands-on experience integrating automation, AI and advanced analytics in SOC operations

• Experience leading SOC modernization, service design or large-scale / complex transformation programs
