Role overview: 

The FP&A Manager – Global Marketing is responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis for PlayStation Global Marketing. This role owns the consolidated global marketing financial outlook, drives insight-led decision support, and ensures robust financial governance of month end close and accounting liaison. 

Working closely with Global Marketing leadership, regional finance teams, and commercial finance, this role ensures accurate planning, clear performance visibility, and high-quality financial insights to support strategic decision-making. 

What you'll be doing: 

  • Lead the global budgeting, forecasting, and assist mid-range planning processes for Global Marketing, ensuring alignment with corporate financial targets. 
  • Month end closing – SAP and Adaptive level reconciliations with review of accrual positions. 
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly performance analysis, identifying risks, opportunities, and key drivers versus budget and forecast. 
  • Provide executive-ready reporting and presentations to senior stakeholders, translating complex financial data into clear business insights. 
  • Drive financial governance and consistency of spend tracking methodologies across regions and marketing teams. 
  • Partner with regional marketing finance teams to ensure accurate cost forecasting. 
  • Continuously improve planning tools, reporting processes, and systems to enhance efficiency, transparency, and control. 
  • Maintain ownership of Anaplan GPT model and continuous improvement 

What we're looking for: 

  • At least 6 years relevant experience or 4 years PQE in an FP&A function and of working with commercial teams or businesss

Preferred Qualities: 

  • Proven experience leading budgeting and forecasting cycles in a complex, global organization. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (VBA level an advantage).   
  • SAP / Adaptive experience an advantage 
  • Accrual / PO knowledge preferred. 
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills, including the ability to present detailed analyses. 
  • Organised self-starter, with drive and ambition who thrives under pressure, and is capable of confidently working alongside the most senior stakeholders across the wider business. 
  • Attention to detail, commitment to accuracy & adherence to deadlines. 
  • Experience of working in a regional group headquarters. 
  • Proven track record of similar roles/tasks in Global / Pan regional company in the Entertainment sector (Game/Film/Music)
