Job Description:

Discover will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and conduct new due diligence and periodic review on Payments partners which encompass multiple risk disciplines and engage numerous internal and external business partners.
  • Act as risk contact for various topics including regulatory risks for both internal and external partners.
  • Actively manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You’ll Do It

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate risk review programs for new and existing partners to control risks and ensure compliance.
  • Collect and maintain partner-review documentation and feedback to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage, maintain, and enhance the system of record listing, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data collected and retained.
  • Create an accurate and timely reporting of all reviews for internal business partners and senior management in order to provide transparency and identify processing delays.

Qualifications You’ll Need

The Basics

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Security and Intelligence, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Financial Services, or related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Financial Services, Risk Management, Payment Services/Card Industry, or related experience

Bonus Points If You Have

  • 4+ years of experience in Financial Services, Risk Management, Payment Services/Card Industry, or related experience
  • Payment Services experience/familiarity
  • Risk/Due Diligence experience
  • Project Management Professional

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $65,000.00 to $109,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
