Sensata Technologies is seeking an experienced Global Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) Leader to define, deploy and digitize a world class SIOP Process which enables the organization to achieve its on time delivery to customers, capacity planning, revenue forecasting, and inventory performance commitments.

This position is responsible for the development of integrated business management processes across the organization including S&OP deployment, EDI management and inventory management execution.

This position will have full responsibility for demand planning, supply planning, inventory, and customer service and will be expected to drive functional excellence and continuous improvement. They must be able to manage the forecasting process, capacity planning, and be able to execute inventory deployment and optimization in alignment with business goals and objectives.

This position will rely heavily on Operational Excellence techniques in order to improve processes and remove waste within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Sales Inventory Operational planning (SIOP) process excellence.
  • Facilitates the capacity management process, including identification and escalation of long term capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SIOP.
  • Define governance process involving all parts of the Supply Chain organization, with the understanding that it has ownership of transforming inventory management culture.
  • Provides solutions and support to reduce costs and inventory, improve cash flow, and increase revenue opportunities. 
  • Manage global sites demand balancing using ASCP and other MPS tools and techniques
  • Lead the global customer service team in alignment with the Business Units targets and priorities
  • Ensures the overall supply chain process integrity by balancing the products lifecycle, the finish goods inventory, E&O and the revenue forecasts
  • Set up inventory targets and monitor the MRB for the DCs globally
  • Supervise the commercial finance team and their contribution to the integrated supply chain processes
  • Initiate and lead cross functional Continuous Improvement activities aligned with industry best practices to improve process efficiencies throughout the Supply Chain.
  • Lead process to achieve long term planning visibility, monthly projections predictability and capability to achieve Annual Plan (AP) targets consistently.
  • Align leading SIOP practices, systems, and tools with the appropriate business models across all lines of business
  • Develop standardized processes and training plans for all key participants in the SIOP process.
  • Visit and communicate with key customers to understand requirements and work to improve signals impact variation and overall inventory.
  • Identify and execute programs to improve inventory efficiency.
  • Oversee Demand cycle process.
  • Direct, manage and guides teams and individuals who don’t necessarily report the him/her
  • Develops and coaches team members in a complex working environment to achieve objectives through teamwork and effective decision making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field (MBA or Masters in related field preferred)  
  • 10+ years of experience leading the SIOP function in a diverse, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience driving to on time delivery, quality and cost
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement tools and methodologies with quantifiable business results
  • Proven track record of working in complex matrix environment and management through influence
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Change-agent who has proven skills in serving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong skills in managing to targets, leading teams, and executing to plan
  • Strong data analysis and project management skills
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build relationships across multiple layers in the organization

Base Salary Range:

$208,000.00 - $286,000.00
