What you’ll do
As an Appian Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading strategic product or solution design, estimation, development, and delivery of Appian-based applications. This role requires extensive experience in Appian development, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of Appian architecture and best practices. You will provide technical guidance, ensure adherence to industry standards, and drive successful delivery of scalable and efficient Appian solutions and is responsible for overall product vision, portfolio management, and the professional growth of a team of product managers. This role combines senior product management leadership with group-level responsibilities, shaping both product strategy and team excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Appian applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective Appian solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams throughout the Appian development lifecycle.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, implementing effective solutions and optimizations.
• Oversee integration of Appian applications with existing systems using RESTful APIs, web services, and other methods.
• Conduct system performance evaluations and optimize solutions for speed and efficiency.
• Mentor and support junior team members, foster continuous learning and growth.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security, and governance requirements.
Here’s what you need:
Minimum of 10+ years of extensive experience in Appian development and architecture
Must have Lead Appian Certification
Proven experience in leading Appian projects and teams for complex delivery
Hands-on development experience on Appian Versions
Strong background in software development and project management, preferably in Agile environments
Proficient in database design and Appian BPM suite, including Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, and Appian Sites
Deep knowledge of Appian architecture, components, and best practices
Experience with integration of Appian with other systems using RESTful APIs, web services (inbound / outbound), and SQL
Familiarity with Appian RPA and AI capabilities
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
