At Vantor, you’ll work alongside the U.S. Space Force and mission partners to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW) capabilities. Your leadership will help deter attacks and deliver critical information to warfighters, enabling faster decisions and stronger mission outcomes. 

As a Project Manager, you’ll bring together technical teams, mission stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to turn complex requirements into operational capabilities. You’ll coordinate testing, analysis, evaluation, validation, and verification activities while identifying risks and areas requiring early mitigation. By combining disciplined program execution with innovative engineering methodologies, you’ll help keep critical work aligned, moving forward, and ready for the mission. 

You’ll grow your expertise by working across engineering disciplines, applying advanced technology solutions, and navigating the challenges of developing resilient remote-sensing systems. Your ability to communicate clearly, build alignment, manage complexity, and drive action will be essential to delivering tomorrow’s capabilities today.

Qualifications: 

  • 4+ years of experience with project management 

  • 4+ years of experience in DoD acquisition planning, project management, and business operations  

  • Experience managing programmatic risk including cost, schedule, and performance 

  • Experience with DoD 5000.02 acquisition directives 

  • Ability to interact well in cross-functional team meetings and professional environments  

  • Ability to interface with internal and external customers  

  • Secret clearance  

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, computer science, or technical discipline   

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification  

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience working with Confluence or JIRA  

  • Experience with the military space systems  

  • Experience with the DoD acquisition system   

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook  

  • Experience working new technology programs for embedded systems  

  • Possession of strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills 

  • TS/SCI clearance  

  • Master’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or technical discipline   

  • Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level II or higher Certification 

Clearance: Secret 

The position will require at least 2-3x per week on site.  Meetings/schedules may require more days on site.

Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.

 

● The base pay for this position within California is: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $132,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
