The Team:

The AQR Marketing team is responsible for brand management, corporate communications, digital strategy, content strategy and creation, design, and signature events for the firm. Our mission is to raise AQR’s visibility, deepen client engagement, and support commercial growth across strategies, regions, and client channels. Marketing is part of AQR’s Business Development organization

 

Your Role:

We are seeking a Vice President, Channel Marketing to play a key role in building and executing channel‑specific marketing strategy for the international business, with particular focus on commercial impact, strategic positioning, and scalability. This individual will be based in our London office and serve as a strategic partner to international Business Development teams.

This role will focus on driving growth outside the United States, partnering closely with Business Development and the Marketing team to deliver high-impact, regionally relevant marketing programs. The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of asset management distribution models (wealth, intermediary, and institutional), strong strategic thinking, and a track record of building measurable marketing programs across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies for AQR’s international channels, aligned with regional sales priorities and growth objectives.
  • Lead channel-specific campaigns, product launches, and sales enablement initiatives, ensuring messaging is regionally relevant and commercially impactful.
  • Partner closely with Business Development and Investment teams to translate AQR’s research and strategies into compelling positioning for global investors and distributors.
  • Drive measurable marketing outcomes through data-driven planning, performance tracking, and continuous optimization across regions.
  • Provide Marketing support for regional events.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with applicable regional regulatory requirements and align with AQR’s global brand standards.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Business Development, Legal/Compliance, and Marketing.
  • Contribute to marketing strategy discussions, bringing a strong international perspective.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • 6-8 years of marketing experience, preferably in asset management or financial services.
  • Experience with intermediary and/or institutional sales channels outside the U.S.
  • Knowledge of cross-border fund marketing structures (UCITS, local vehicles, platform distribution) are preferred.
  • Experience partnering closely with senior sales leadership as well as working within a global Marketing team.
  • Proven track record of developing integrated, multi-channel, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex investment strategies into compelling narratives.
  • Highly collaborative, proactive, and execution-oriented.
  • Experience working within a regulated financial services environment.
