This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join the Specialty team at GSK as Key Account Manager (KAM).  In this position you will represent our Specialty respiratory portfolio - creating and maintaining mutual beneficial partnerships for patients, healthcare professionals and GSK. As a business owner, you will build and implement the territory strategic plan and be a key contributor in improving patient outcomes in Denmark. We are looking for an individual, who loves to be in front of customers discussing science, patient outcomes, and medicines, and who are curious to understand and meet customer needs.

In this role you will…

  • Work with targeted health care professionals and health care accounts to drive education and implementation of our Specialty portfolio, driving sales in the territory
  • Develop a deep understanding of the patient journeys and key decision makers’ objectives/goals to effectively identify opportunities to partner, aligned with commercial strategic objectives
  • Be a key contributor to a performance-driven environment by bringing a positive mindset and commitment to hold self and others accountable for delivering on cross-functional objectives
  • Develop and execute strategic territory account plans, incorporating a mix of face-to-face and digital/virtual engagements tailored to the customers’ needs
  • Provide ongoing territory/account analysis feedback and market dynamics insights that have the potential to impact national/local business and contribute to opportunity/mitigation planning and implementation
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding and application of the GSK code and values, in addition to local regulations in which GSK operates

Why you? 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in Sales from the Pharma, MedTech or Biotech industry, and/or experience in healthcare (e.g. Nurse, Pharmacist)
  • Strong understanding and experience in execution of key account management principles
  • Analytical skills – able to use Excel and understand data
  • Ability to quickly move insights to strategic and tactical implementation
  • Fluent in Danish, both spoken and written. Professional level English
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel

Preferred:

  • Recent Respiratory and/or Specialty experience in Denmark is preferred
  • Ability to establish and manage trusted relationships with customers. Excellent communication, selling and engagement skills (face-to-face and virtual)
  • Desire to take ownership of your business and drive success by capitalising on opportunities and overcoming barriers. Strength in challenging both self, peers and status quo
  • Eagerness to achieve successful sales outcomes through a customer-focused approach
