Your New Role
The Warner Bros Discovery Procurement Global Contract Management Specialist is responsible for assisting in the quality assurance and compliance activities resulting in increased accuracy of the source-to-contract process. The candidate for this position should possess strong knowledge and understanding of the procurement and contract process. This position will report to the Director for Procurement Global Process Owner.
Your Role Responsibilities:
Guide the business through the source-to-contract process: what forms to complete, how to engage Procurement and cross functional teams (Technology, Information Security, Privacy, Procure to Pay, Legal, and others), how to submit requests for new suppliers, creating purchase orders (PO), updating supplier master data, and other required processes/procedures
Supporting implementation of improvements/enhancements to the source to contract process and systems as required
Support and lead training to Procurement, Business, and cross functional teams on new/current source-to-contract processes
Source to Contract Metadata Maintenance & Compliance Tracking
Enter/Review key contract metadata and documents in the procurement contract repository, assuring the quality and accuracy of the data entered
Support source to contract compliance tracking activities
Assist with the reporting and analysis of contract data in the Procurement contract repository
Support contract audit activities
Contract Lifecycle Management Process & Tools Support
Guide the business to initiate the contract process or to use the preferred buying channel (catalog, PO, Pcard) based on established guidelines
Guide Procurement on the contract process and tools used to manage and store contracts
Procure to Pay Process Support
Guide the business and Procurement team on procure to pay process
Assist with reporting and analysis of procure to pay processes including payment term exceptions
Partnering closely with the PCS team and other cross functional teams as required to help support system and process changes
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
1-3 years, preferably related to administrative or data management roles
Experience in project management plus
Prior experience in Procurement and contract management preferred
Experience conducting training and comfortable speaking to small-large audiences
Experience using systems and solutions to manage the source to contract process (i.e. Workday Strategic Sourcing, Ariba, SAP, Smartsheet, ServiceNow)
Knowledgeable of the procure to pay process and tools used to facilitate payment and supplier data
Self-starter, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while delivering solid action-oriented results quickly
Ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize legal documents with the ability to research and make the appropriate inquiries when needed
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and comfortable navigating within computer applications, able to learn new contract management systems at an advanced user level
Results-oriented with strong attention to accuracy and detail
Ability to collaborate with team members across the organization
Understanding of the procurement lifecycle
