Job Summary:

The Project Manager, reporting to the manager Logistics and Distribution Excellence, is responsible for leading or supporting projects focused on optimizing distribution and order handling operations in Europe. This includes developing and executing project plans, coordinating with various teams, managing budgets and timelines, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, service and cost.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Lead/Support and oversee cross functional project teams along all project phases (initialization, analysis, concept development, project implementation until handover to accountable organizations).
  • Manage project budgets, prioities, and timelines to ensure successful execution
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project objectives with business goals
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle taking the wholistic European distribution perspective
  • Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders regularly.
  • Lead project meetings, facilitate discussions and problem solving sessions, and drive decision-making processes
  • Utilize project management / CI tools and methodologies to track progress and report on key metrics
  • Support the integration and standardization of key processes and policies ensuring synergies and consistency.
  • Support building PAR and business cases when needed for CAPEX allocation.
  • Support teams with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities to pursue business goals.
  • Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Coordinating and running events and workshop
  • Actively participate in trainings and capability building session personally and for the teams.
  • Support developing and deploying key performance metrics, perform/lead RCCA (Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions)

Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Logistics/Business or related field
  • Experience in deploying and utilizing CI principles.
  • Long track record of cross functional collaboration
  • Minimum 3 years of operations experience
  • Good communication skill in written and spoken English is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean Certification
  • Italian/French/German or Swedish is a Plus
