ABOUT THE ROLE 
We are seeking a dynamic Product Analyst focused on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) to drive understanding of our conversion rate optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience in product and/or marketing analytics, plus experience in conversion rate optimization within a fast-paced ecommerce environment and will collaborate across teams and functions to improve the customer journey and maximize site conversion. This role requires someone with a strong analytics background who can partner closely with business and product partners to identify high potential opportunities and evaluate their performance.  

As the Product Analyst - CRO, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategies to enhance user experience, drive traffic, and increase conversion rates across our digital channels. 

Our marketing and commercial teams embrace a hybrid model that provides personal flexibility as well as in-person collaboration. The ideal candidate will find value in coming to our Watertown office twice per week for face-to-face strategy sessions, taking the occasional meeting on a walk around the river trails, and of course Taco Tuesday!

RESPONSIBILITIES 
•Analyze and interpret complex website data and user behavior to identify areas for improvement.
•Support A/B and multivariate testing to optimize website performance, including test design, mid-test and post-test analytics, and reporting. 
•Recommend changes to website layout, content, and user paths based on testing results and analysis. 
•Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor them to measure success. 
•Use web analytics tools to track site traffic, user engagement, and conversion rates. 
•Develop regular reports and presentations on conversion optimization strategies and results. 
•Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in conversion rate optimization and user experience design. 

QUALIFICATIONS 
•Proven experience in conversion rate optimization, digital marketing, or a similar data-driven growth marketing role. 
•Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in web and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Optimizely, Looker, SQL, Excel) 
•Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and communicate findings effectively to cross-functional teams. 
•Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across marketing, product, UX, and engineering teams in a fast-paced test-and-lean environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously 
•Understanding of ecommerce business models, including customer acquisition, LTV, and conversion optimization. 
•Understanding of performance marketing measurement, such as incrementality testing, multi-touch attribution, and media mix modeling. 
 
FUNCTIONAL EXPERTISE 
•Proficiency in A/B testing and multivariate testing methodologies. 
•Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and Power BI, Looker or Tableau for data visualization 
•Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
•Knowledge of SEO best practices and strategies. 
•Stay on top of industry-specific trends and help to facilitate reactive optimization strategies. 
•Find creative opportunities to enhance user experience and drive conversions. 
•Contribute to reporting via the tracking of user behavior, conversion trends, and other CRO KPIs. 
•Provide key insights to the Growth Marketing and CRO teams to advise on campaign strategy and CRO best practices. 
•Understanding of multi-touch attribution models and incrementality testing is a plus
