We are seeking Data Analyst with a focus on reporting automation using tools like IBM Cognos, Tableau and big data technologies. This role requires collaboration with offshore teams, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflows to deliver timely and accurate reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and automate reporting systems using IBM Cognos, Tableau, and big data technologies like Hadoop and PySpark.

  • Work closely with offshore teams to implement and maintain scalable data pipelines for reporting and analysis.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure alignment with both onshore and offshore teams.

  • Automate recurring reporting tasks to reduce manual efforts and enhance productivity across global teams.

  • Troubleshoot reporting issues, collaborating with offshore teams to ensure timely resolution.

  • Analyze large datasets and provide insights to drive business improvements, working in tandem with global teams.

  • Contribute to team collaboration and share knowledge with offshore colleagues to foster continuous learning.

  • Conducts strategic data analysis, identifies insights and implications and make strategic recommendations, develops data displays that clearly communicate complex analysis

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • 2-4 Years Extensive experience using IBM Cognos, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.

  • Extensive experience in data analysis, reporting, and big data technologies such as Hadoop and PySpark.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Teradata, Oracle, MongoDB and the ability to handle large-scale datasets.

  • Experience collaborating with offshore teams and maintaining effective communication.

  • Team player, able to collaborate across global teams and business units.

Additional skills / experience preferred:

  • Experience with cloud-based data environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Knowledge of Python or R for advanced data analysis and automation.

  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.

$76,230.00 - $106,370.00
