Job Description Summary

The Sourcing Analyst will support our Indirect Sourcing Organization, with a focus on XX global categories. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are interested in building a foundation in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and data-driven decision making.
The sourcing Analyst will partner closely with category directors, stakeholders and suppliers to support sourcing initiatives, analyze spend data, track supplier performance, and help drive cost optimization and process improvements across multiple indirect spend categories.

This role directly supports Indirect spend categories of: Travel & Expense, Professional Services, Total HR & Labor Services and Total rewards & People operations and will report to a Category Director.

Job Description

Key attributes:

Key responsibilities include:
 

Sourcing & Category Support

  • Support sourcing initiatives across XX categories, globally
  • Assist in RFP/RFQ/RFI processes, including data collection, bid analysis, and documentation
  • Help prepare sourcing recommendations, business cases, and stakeholder presentations
     

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze spend data to identify trends, risks, savings opportunities, and compliance gaps and carry out spend classification changes.
  • Create & Maintain dashboards and reports related to spend, supplier performance, and contract utilization
  • Support tracking and reporting of sourcing savings and value delivery
     

Supplier & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Assist with supplier onboarding, evaluations, and performance reviews
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and support sourcing projects
  • Manages stakeholder help requests inbox and maintains “how to guide”.
  • Owns, updates & maintains team internal site for communication.
  • Develop relationships with requestors to ensure they are following the preferred Commodity strategy which meets their requirements.
  • Help ensure contracts, pricing, and supplier data are accurately maintained
  • Leads supplier outstanding payments reconciliation with stakeholders, suppliers and AP.
     

Process & Operational Excellence

  • Support procurement processes, tools, and systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve sourcing workflows, documentation, and data quality
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance standards
  • Lead/support continuous improvement projects for sourcing activities and processes through collaboration with key stakeholders.

Quality Specific Goals:

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of GEHC Purchasing Controls Procedure and associated standard Work Instructions and operates within them to ensure that all purchased product and services conform to specified requirements.
  • Develop and maintaining of fully qualified and compliant supply base.

Qualifications:

  • Formal sourcing qualification / Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with meaningful work experience in procurement or supply chain.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI; familiarity with PowerPoint and data analysis tools
  • Ability to document, plan, market/communicate, and execute projects/programs.
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of time.
