Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Salary: $80,000 - $95,000
  • Immediate, open position
  • Prepare working papers as required by Internal and External audit
  • Prepare weekly and monthly scrap reports and publish to management
  • Complete inputs to weekly Run Rate Report
  • Prepare Weekly and Monthly Sales, Material and Labour Estimates
  • Responsible for the maintaining of accurate Bill of Materials for all parts
  • Responsible for the calculation, processing and payment of all supplier surcharges and rebates, including monthly accruals
  • Responsible for the Tracking and Reporting of Monthly Cost Savings (CI) including Material Savings and Increases to a Part Number level.
  • Responsible for the tracking of Tariff costs and assist in the preparation of Audit documents
  • Prepare weekly estimate of Future Sales, Material and Labour
  • Responsible for preparing Quarterly and Annual Sales Budgets and Forecasts with accurate sales, costing, and forecasting of commodities
  • Reconciliation of Month End Inventory Sub-Ledger to General Ledger
  • Responsible for tracking all changes to Part Costing and reasons for change
  • Responsible for periodic updates in Frozen costing, including annual cost update in SAP
  • Ensure Quality Chargebacks are costed and coded in a timely manner
  • Assist in the preparation of Activity Based Costing models and Profitability by part number and program
  • Responsible for Monthly Sales Reconciliation and Contribution Margin Analysis
  • Review weekly inventory reports – comments on losses and changes in reserves
  • Work closely with Materials team to prepare appropriate inventory reserves at month end
  • Manage year-end close and all standard cost updates in the SAP system
  • This position is the Finance Auditor for all physical inventories
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts – current costs, foreign currency purchases, rebates etc
  • Maintain detailed analysis on steel increases and reports both internally and to Group Office
  • Complete month end reporting / analysis on inventory variances, reserves
  • Review AP invoice price discrepancies and provide direction to the AP team on invoice processing
  • Responsible for Monthly Manufacturing Survey (Statistics Canada)
  • Responsible for maintaining the MAFACT cost section / biannual bill of material reviews
  • Accrue requisitions at month-end and other expenses as required
  • Other duties as assigned by a Supervisor or Manager
  • Must comply with all ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (Health and Safety) systems and standards as it pertains to their work
  • Adhere to the IATF16949 Standard as required
  • Abide by all AODA and C-TPAT procedures that apply to their position
