An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced finance professional to join our Neuromodulation team based in Macquarie Park, NSW in the position of Senior Financial Analyst. This role is responsible for partnering with the business in a controllership role to drive growth in topline and bottom line, take ownership of the P&L and drive sound financial processes and discipline to support sustainable growth in the business.
This role will report into the FP&A Manager, Asia Pacific and work closely with the Country Manager, ANZ. The ability to collaborate and communicate clearly across different levels within the organisation is critical to the success of this role.
Main Responsibilities
Lead sales forecast call during the weekly Australia Leadership Meeting. Address key drivers of growth/decline, key trends, validate forecasts, flag out risk.
Prepare and present clear and meaningful sales report, revenue dashboards/trend charts, key leading indicators to ANZ & APAC management vs key benchmarks (Prior Year/Plan/Latest Best Estimate/Market performance) to drive visibility and strong business understanding.
Manage the financial planning, reporting and analysis of the ANZ commercial division with ownership of full Profit & Loss (P&L) based on key benchmarks (Prior Year Plan/Latest Best Estimate/Market performance).
Perform in depth reviews and variance analysis on key P&L line items such as Revenue, Gross Margin, Operating expenses and Division Margin.
Demonstrate proactive ownership in a problem-solving approach to issues/tasks to drive accountability within the organisation.
Lead Quarterly LBE/Business Review processes with Country Manager and prepare loading of financial forecast into the Dodeca system.
Support annual territory planning and set up annual quota for the ANZ commercial team.
Perform Incentive accrual and Incentive payment calculations.
Help to develop business cases for market expansions and product launches by running financial scenarios (e.g. revenues, profitability etc)

You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, quick learner and adaptable to changes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Confident in framing complex data into meaningful information and present to Senior Executives to help drive strategic decision making.
Forward looking, forward thinking and proactively finding solutions to support the business. Willing to solve problems and reach out cross-functionally.
Ability to hold commercial leaders accountable and influencing decisions within the business.
Ability to work independently and work as a team are key.
Have a sound Financial accounting knowledge with experience in either Practice or Industry required whilst having excellent excel skills and a mindset of learning and growth to develop within the role.
Advance skills with Excel and an established data-cube system (hyperion, Dodeca etc) and strong SAP system knowledge. Ability to perform detailed variance analyses.
Proven track record of driving process improvements, leading projects, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
Minimum Experience/Qualifications Required
CPA/CA Qualification or working towards.
Minimum 8-10 years' finance experience.
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and ability to learn/leverage digital tools.
