The Opportunity

Are you ready to take the lead in shaping our cybersecurity landscape? We’re seeking a dynamic Cyber Security Operations Specialist to spearhead our incident response and SOC management functions in Australia.

In this pivotal role, you’ll drive the transformation of our evolving global cybersecurity capabilities. As the leader of cyber incident management in the ANZ region, you’ll work closely with our Global Cybersecurity Team in Spain, elevating processes and delivering cutting-edge strategies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support in the management and monitoring of the current SOC third party providers to take full advantage of our capabilities.

  • Support in the prioritisation and management of security alerts in Acciona’s SecOps platform.

  • Standardisation, improvement and automation of incident management procedures and processes.

  • Leadership and coordination of cybersecurity incidents in complex environments by taking full advantage of available technologies and outsourced services.

  • Continuous improvement of incident response reporting and SOC monitoring capabilities.

  • Develop broad knowledge of Acciona’s technology environment, architectures and infrastructure as well as the available cybersecurity technologies deployed.

  • Support global and local cybersecurity team to improve prevention, detection, and the related automations.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proven commercial experience working in SOC and security incident management.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field. Master's degree or equivalent is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Data Forensics and Incident Response as well as threat trends and attack vectors.

  • Knowledge of SOC operations and ability to prioritise tasks and coordinate teams.
