Actively engage in troubleshooting and resolving complex cloud networking and infrastructure issues.

Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement.

Develop documentation and best practices for cloud automation and networking strategies.

More About the Role

As a Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect specializing in AWS, you will play a vital role in shaping our cloud strategy. This hands-on position requires you to lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions that enhance our cloud infrastructure's efficiency and security. Your expertise in automation, orchestration, and cloud networking will be critical as you actively work on the technical aspects of projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize our cloud resources and promote best practices.

Required:

Active DOD Secret Clearance

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture, with a focus on AWS.

Extensive hands-on experience with cloud automation and orchestration tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible).

Strong hands-on expertise in cloud networking concepts, including VPC design, security groups, route tables, and network access controls.

Proficient in CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).

Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a detail-oriented approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead projects and mentor others.

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with containerization technologies.

Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

Knowledge of multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud architectures.

Previous experience in a federal or government contracting environment.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$89,500-$188,000
