Position Summary: 

Creates high visibility in the operations of internal legal function by building process monitoring for multiple underlying processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Works with stakeholders to gather requirements, performs scoping and delivers projects to provide meaningful data analysis for decision making and recommends solutions to improve process capability and reduce rework.
Provides leadership in both the frontend/backend creation of reporting and ultimately automation. Excels in learning operational processes and data structure with the ability to produce long term reporting along with ad-hoc.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 2-4 years of experience in developing process level data reporting and forecasting
  • Previous analytical experience in Legal Collections and performance management is required
  • Any experience forecasting inventory flow across various legal process stages for better resource planning and turnaround time management
  • Prior work experience in Finance, Banking, Mortgage or Insurance industries is preferred
  • Knowledge of complex operations, systems, business processes, statistical analyses and modeling techniques
  • Advanced SQL / Power BI experience required
  • Excellent data analysis skills and experience using multiple analytical tools and Lean Six Sigma methodology
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Ability to perform large scale data analysis and create and maintain capacity plans in MS Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and at multiple levels
  • Ability to work with large quantities of detailed information with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting multiple deadlines
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Business Management, Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field required,
  • Master's degree preferred. Equivalent work experience accepted in lieu of degree.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing complex data analysis and reporting using various data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI, SSRS, etc.)
  • Serves as a Project leader on various reporting initiatives and provides reporting to senior leadership for strategic decision making
  • Identifies trends and uses a data-based approach to recommend opportunities for efficiencies; supports business improvements that reduce expenditures and increase profitability
  • Provides data for formulating and implementing strategic inventory selection and flow control plans and roadmaps; Works with senior leaders in the execution of the plans
  • Provides process deep dive analysis for internal legal operations and legal channel wide initiatives (e.g., process adherence monitoring, competitive process performance analysis, etc.) Partners with leadership to develop best in class reporting
  • Assists with analytics, metrics and reporting to develop strategic and operational insights for workforce decision-making at the direction of senior leaders
  • Forecasts performance at the direction of senior leaders by creating performance and accountability reports and monitors efficiency.  Assists in determining where opportunities exist at the direction of senior leadership
  • Forecast inventory flow across various process stages for better resource planning and turnaround time management
  • Understands various business rules, maps all fall out paths from desired path and create reporting to monitor fall outs
  • Leads and mentors lower level analysts in the development of analytic projects;  Serves as the subject matter expert for frontend/backend report creation and automation
  • Analyzes report usage and performance.  Develops methods to improve low usage and poor performance.
  • Presents and trains employees on new reports (up to and including senior leadership)
  • Assists senior leaders in the allocation workloads across multiple sites and programs, assists in the development and maintenance of short-and long-term capacity plans

Salary Range:

$60,000.00 - $90,000.00

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, specific working location and market position.
