Manages the ongoing preparation, testing and monitoring of compliance with government regulations and regulatory agencies for the organization. Directs and performs evaluation of internal operations, controls, communications, risk assessments and maintenance of documentation as related to regulatory compliance and recommends appropriate changes. Reviews and evaluates results of internal and external audits and advises organization on appropriate actions to be taken. Directs and manages organizational relationships and interactions with regulatory agencies. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. (This position normally qualifies as managing a functional area and may not have subordinate employees).
Minimum Required Skills and KnowledgeAbility, competence, and confidence to lead people.Effective interpersonal skills. Other Desired Skills and Knowledge: Required Certifications and Training: Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility. Scope Receives assignment in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s). Experience Level with Business Tools:Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
Typical Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree or equivalent. 8 years of related experience. 3 years management experience or supervisory equivalent
