Role Description:

As a Junior Backend Developer, you will become part of a successful international team, that aids in the creation and maintenance of complex financial software. This includes partnering with other developers, testers, application support engineers, and infrastructure automation engineers to ensure a smooth development and operational pipeline. This role focuses on Python backend development.

The team is based in Sofia and is composed of between 5 to 10 ppl, split between QAs and Devs. We value logical thinking and persistent problem-solving over familiarity or experience with specific frameworks.

Requirements:

• OOP language knowledge, preferably in Python

• Logical minded, critical thinking, quick learner

• Knowledge of SQL

• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Strong knowledge of Data Structures and algorithms

• Understanding of version control systems (e.g. Git/SVN)

• Knowledge of micro services in a distributed environment
