Job Description

Post-Trade Operations Specialist – Syndicated & Bilateral Loans

Area

Post-trade operational management of syndicated and bilateral loan products executed within the Corporate & Investment Banking area.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate input of all relevant deal data entered by Front Office into the loans system.

• Review syndicated and bilateral loan agreements when acting both as participant and as agent.

• Liaise and collaborate with Front Office to resolve queries, discrepancies, and data issues.

• Ensure the proper processing of lifecycle events and settlements related to syndicated and bilateral loans.

• Review transaction information and event details when acting as participant.

• Organize and execute loan events when acting as agent.

• Ensure the correct accounting treatment and settlement of fees related to syndicated and bilateral loans.

• Ensure the proper management and subsequent input into the relevant systems of loans under special situations such as default, insolvency, past due, or similar statuses.

• Provide support and responses to office queries related to loans under special situations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the review and operational management of syndicated and bilateral loans.

• Solid experience acting both as participant and agent in syndicated loan transactions.

• Good understanding of loan event processing, settlements, and operational workflows.

• Knowledge of loan accounting entries is required.

• Knowledge of settlement instruction formatting and SWIFT messaging will be considered a plus.

• Knowledge of the operational handling of loans in default, insolvency, overdue, or similar situations will be valued.

• Strong teamwork skills, commitment, and a positive attitude.

• High level of English.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the loan product area.
