Job Description Summary:

The Manager, Industry Affairs, Retail leads the coordination of key events and programs associated with Industry Partnerships, including conferences, trade shows, and related initiatives. This role involves planning, organizing, and managing resources and processes to successfully meet project objectives while aligning with scope, timelines, quality, and budget requirements.

As the central liaison for clients, partners, and stakeholders, this role is responsible for managing end-to-end project activities, gathering and relaying key information, and ensuring seamless communication. The Manager further ensures timely follow-ups on issues, prioritizes and tracks project deliverables, and assesses overall readiness for successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Manage moderately complex projects across Industry Relations, Trade Communications, and Customer Leadership initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables within budget.

  • Event Execution: Plan and execute events, including scheduling, logistics, on-site coordination, resource procurement, and communication with stakeholders.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Serve as the central point of contact for clients, vendors, and team leaders, fostering alignment, and driving results through effective communication.

  • Operational Support: Prepare presentations, reports, and correspondence; process purchase orders and invoices; maintain databases; track budgets and timelines.

  • Customer Support: Respond promptly to inquiries and manage calendars, travel, and meeting logistics for senior leadership and broader team activities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience managing events and complex projects with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to build collaborative, professional relationships with diverse stakeholders and work independently with minimal oversight.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), budget management, and vendor coordination.

  • Leadership, attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in professional services, sales, marketing, event management, or a high-level support role.

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

  • Familiarity with budget management, reporting, and vendor relationship management.

$114,555 - $133,350

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
