Primary Function

Provide architectural, design, development, deployment analysis and support for a myriad of applications, services, products, tools, and capabilities in support of a dynamic customer network enterprise. The candidate will perform system and network analysis of current and future requirements architecture and design. Provide technical direction for implementation and deployment of new applications and services in support of mission needs and in coordination with business requirements. This individual will work in a team environment and coordinate with appropriate elements to effectively meet design, development, deployment, and monitoring/securing objectives.

Essential Duties

Architect, and design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable technology solutions to meet business needs.

Create documentation to include flowcharts, diagrams, deployment guides, SOPs, and any other required or requested deliverables.

Support system installations, problem solving and testing to ensure the availability, validity and reliability of the DSMS networks.

Use the Agile methodology to document requirements, configure, test, implement and support efficient solutions.

Evaluate alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems; resolve highly complex multi-domain systems issues.

Provide technical support for operations and maintenance, as necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The successful candidate will act as the site lead for the team. Supervisory duties will include but are not limited to:

Ensure all StraitSys team members are at work on time.

Ensure all StraitSys team members are dressed professionally in attire consistent with customer expectations for that site.

Elevate any personnel concerns to StraitSys management.

Be prepared to interface with the customer and other site contractors as required.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, security groups, etc.

In-depth knowledge and experience with both Windows and Linux

Significant knowledge and experience with virtualized or hyperconverged environments (VMware, Nutanix, Cisco Hyperflex)

Knowledge and experience with design and implementation of infrastructure services as IdM, SSO, Certificate Authority, LDAP, Kerberos, etc.

Significant experience with DISA STIGs and hardening Windows environments

Demonstrated experience with Scripting/Automation (PowerShell, Ansible)

Required Qualifications

Candidate must have a Bachelors degree with 7 years of experience or, 12 or more years of relevant IT experience with a minimum of 5 years of architectural and design experience or, a Masters degree with 5 or more years of experience. Additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
