Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Engineer to join our team in the Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division (IATD). The FEA Engineer will be responsible for performing advanced simulations and analyses to support the design, development, and optimization of adhesive products and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, materials science, and computational modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate the structural performance of adhesive products and systems.
• Develop and validate FEA models to simulate mechanical behavior, including stress, strain, and deformation.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize product designs based on simulation results.
• Interpret and communicate analysis results to cross-functional teams, providing recommendations for design improvements.
• Perform material characterization and incorporate material properties into FEA models.
• Support the development of new adhesive products by providing insights into mechanical performance and reliability.
• Stay current with advancements in FEA techniques, software, and industry best practices.
• Document analysis procedures, results, and recommendations in technical reports.
