The Logistics and Commercial Support Coordinator – Fine Cheese will work closely with the S&OP and Commercial Team and other internal functions to provide a cross function support in the execution of tasks in support of S&OP, commercial and marketing activities.

What’s involved in this role:
S&OP support (50%)
- Assist importation – communication & documentation (cdl/qc/procurement/freight forwarder)
- Daily monitoring with carriers for container deliveries to/from cdl
- Assist customs clearance process
- Place PO’s to suppliers (less complex suppliers)
- Provide vacation backfill support for Planning and International Logistics Coordinator
Commercial support (25%)
- Assist with bel “clerical duties”
- Assistance int projects such as reconciliation reports and audits (project finesse)
- Assist with various (MDM) specific account modifications & setup
- Ownership of the customer price list (updates/maintenance)
- Assist with TPR setup for foodservice customers
- prepare and assit with customer specific payments (agreements reconciliation)
- Ad hoc reporting for Business Development managers
Marketing support (25%)
- Code creation
- Assist in the SKU RAT process
- Complete marketing platform updates (sqf, gs1, coupa, cheese guide)
- Assist portfolio - update communication (format change, recipe change, etc.)
- Samples management (reception, shipping, qualification)
- Adhoc supplier reporting (quartery reports, etc
What you need to join our team:
- Bachelor's degree in operations management, logistics, or other relevant field (an asset)
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role
- Relevant experience in the food or consumer products industry (an asset)
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written (French and English) to communicate with teams in Canada and in the US.
- Proficiency of common software Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of SAP,Oracle, OBIEE, sharepoint software would be assets
