What You Will Do:
Schedule production needs and monitor throughput thru effective collaboration with Production Leaders.
Serve as the point of contact for the company’s field operations in Odessa to meet inventory needs for fulfillment of customer orders
Provide direction to the Quality Control department for the inspection priorities per inventory and production schedule needs
Interface with the Procurement and Planning team on critical inventory needs to meet the production schedule requirements
Perform the data analysis for the company’s finished goods inventory Kanban system to recommend any adjustments to the minimum and maximum levels on a quarterly basis
Monitor the kanban health inventory metric to recommend the necessary actions to optimize the level of inventory for finished goods
Collaborate with the Sales department to promote the consumption of slow moving finished goods
Coordinate and provide support for orders from international locations including the processing of orders, the preparation of equipment, parts and documentation, and the packaging and logistics as needed.
Perform duties related to the record keeping of exports associated with international orders.
Minimum Qualifications:
This safety-sensitive role may be subject to employer and/or customer drug testing
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience
5 years relevant experience
Working knowledge of production scheduling theory and processes
Working knowledge of inventory management processes and controls including kanban pull systems
Working knowledge of ERP Systems
Effective oral and written communication skills
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, Oracle and Quickbase
Organization and time management skills
Ability to influence a cross-functional team
Analytical skills in an operational discipline
Ability to execute strategies and initiatives
Leadership by example and servant leadership traits
High attention to the safety of personnel and the integrity of company assets
Continuous Improvement mindset
Interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers
Read, write, and speak English fluently

Potential skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids
Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as required
