What You Will Do:
This position is expected to provide expert level support to evaluate programmatic data and resolves inconsistencies. This position will design and implement middleware environments and manage availability and performance of the middleware systems. This position will monitor performance of middleware components (webMethods, WebSphere MQ, etc.) and supports and manage interface systems connectivity. This position will also:
Prepare and execute middleware application patching, upgrades and tuning activities
Troubleshoot and resolve middleware incident tickets
Perform analysis on system operation issues and make remediation recommendations
Document application/system processes and procedures
Monitor application/system performance and logs
Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an SAP-based system and is the Department of the Navy’s (DON) financial and supply information technology system of record. Deployment implementations have concluded, and the Program is now in its sustainment phase, although efforts continue to expand and improve functionality. Program Executive Office for Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions (PEO MLB) PMW 220 was designated to provide sustainment services, including lifecycle management, stabilization, optimization, and audit readiness.
What You Will Need:
MUST obtain and MAINTAIN and ACTIVE Top Secret federal security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline. An additional FOUR (4) years of SAP Basis or equivalent COTS experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
TEN (10) years of IT Admin experience with TWO (2) years installation/patching/tuning/supporting cloud-based embedded integration engines
Federal experience.
Security+ and RHEL Certifications (i.e. RHCSA, RHCE etc.)
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Linux server installing, patching and supporting applications
Supporting and managing multiple middleware environments (webMethods, MQSeries, Tivoli, and SFTP)
Managing middleware components (webMethods, WebSphere MQ, etc.)
Supporting interface developers and assisting with system connectivity
Experience with Cloud Migration is required.
webMethods API Gateway, API Portal, Command Central and Universal Messaging admin experience
Experience designing/configuring webMethods Integration Server in a clustered environment.
Experience using wM Deployer to manage/deploy custom package changes across the wM landscape.
Enterprise-wide REST and SOAP API hosting/management
OAuth2 security configuration and management
MQSeries installation, patching, configuration and tuning
webMethods SAP Adapter configuration and tuning
Knowledge/experience with SAP IDOC’s & RFC
Basic Linux scripting
SFTP server and client working knowledge
Understanding of digital certificates and ciphers
