As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will work alongside caregivers from different departments, including anesthesia, intensive care, pulmonology and more. You will be actively providing assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.

A caregiver in this position works evening shifts, 11am-11:30pm / 3pm-11:30pm, with rotating weekend and holiday requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Associates degree from an accredited respiratory care program.

• Has active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialing from the National Board for Respiratory care
• Maintains current Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) Board licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).

• Has experience managing a high volume of patients.
• Has strong empathy skills and is passionate.
• Prioritizes multitasking in a stressful environment.
• Works well in a collaborative, team-based setting.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. 

  • Normal hearing and vision or corrected to normal range. 

  • May require sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time. 

  • Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. 

  • Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
